Our Lighthouse Museum Honors Our
Cultural Heritage and Rich Maritime History!

Exhibits, Photographs, Artifacts and Memorabilia trace our history from first inhabitants and early explorers to shipwrecks and the many schooners that traveled to and from our region carrying commerce, to the construction of the first lighthouse in the Oregon Territory and the U.S. Life Saving Service, through to the establishment of our present day Umpqua River Lighthouse and the dedicated service of the U.S. Coast Guard and Motor Life Boat Station Umpqua River.   Our wonderful museum pays tribute to those who have gone before us!
